Package-critic brief — SKU 4-1-1 Pet-Sitting & Dog-Walking Ops Kit (release v1 / letter A)
For the orchestrator's package-critic run (do NOT self-run — this brief only says what to judge). The critic RE-MEASURES everything itself from the shipped files (pypdf field extraction, byte count, count reconciliation) and NEVER trusts pipeline flags. It judges the COMPLETE package against the approved bar (products/business-templates/product-bar.json + docs/business-templates-product-spec.md §8) and the pinned real exemplars, AFTER all deterministic gates already passed. Any claim it cannot independently confirm = PLAUSIBLE-not-CONFIRMED = a fail.

Hard-fail sections (any one = FAIL, no ship) — bar §8
- FILLABLE INTEGRITY — re-extract fields from every shipped fillable PDF: each of the 545 manifest-declared fields present, interactive, correctly typed (text/textarea/checkbox/radio/ dropdown/date/signature via /FT + /Ff), uniquely
form__snake_case named (no text_5), tab-order == visual reading order, zero overlapping field rects, not flattened, savable in free Reader. The print siblings must be genuinely FLAT (zero interactive fields). - INVOICE CALC —
invoice__subtotal = sum(item_1..3 amounts); invoice__total_due = subtotal − discount + tax; both are real /AA /C calculated fields with /CO order [subtotal, total]. Re-compute on a sample input. NOTE the pet-sitting invoice has 3 line items + a discount line (cleaning-ops had 4 items, no discount) — confirm no reference to a non-existent item_4 field (would throw in Reader; the deterministic validator can't see it). - WORKFLOW COMPLETENESS — the 37 forms cover the pet-sitting required-forms checklist and all 7 declared stages end-to-end (onboarding → agreements → logs → scheduling → billing → admin → client experience). A thin/generic dump missing the non-obvious forms (Vaccination Record, Owner Travel & Return, MAR, Contractor W-9, Backup-Sitter list) fails.
- COUNTS RECONCILE — form/field/page/stage counts across title, description, boards (02-whats-included), contents-image and START-HERE all EQUAL the shipped files.
- WRAPPER PRESENT — Cover, categorized Contents/index, START-HERE, License & Terms, and Disclaimer pages all present in every PDF; every quasi-legal doc (agreements, waivers, releases, consents, contractor agreement, W-9 — the
disclaimer: true forms) carries the plain-language "template, not legal advice" block. - NO PLACEHOLDER / AI-TELL LEAKAGE — zero
[COMPANY NAME]/lorem/TODO/auto-name tokens; hero + all boards + PREVIEW-gallery are composited from REAL rendered pages only (no generative art, no stock photos, nothing to disclose under Etsy's AI-image policy); previews flattened onto solid backgrounds (no transparent-PNG→black on Etsy). - DELIVERY LEGAL — ≤5 files × 19,500,000 DECIMAL bytes per download (both ZIPs ≈ 0.15 MB), native Etsy delivery only, dual-size Letter+A4 with genuine A4 geometry (595.28×841.89 pt, not a Letter relabel), no Drive/Dropbox links.
Advisory (surface, don't auto-fail; weight ease-of-use + completeness above visual polish)
Design cohesion across all 37 forms (one header/footer, ≤2 fonts, one type scale, one accent); pixel-clean field alignment at 1:1; blue-field affordance reads as fillable; contents/flat-lay boards legible (not tiny text); Welcome Packet reads as a narrated experience; carousel follows the hero / contents / workflow-flat-lays / fillable-demo / format-matrix / how-it-works recipe.
Indistinguishability test
Place hero (01-hero.png) + contents (02-whats-included.png) + three random interior forms beside the pinned exemplars (wiki/exemplars/business-templates/ — e.g. Ultimate Home Care 43-form pack, NEMT 36-form). If a business buyer could tell OURS is the machine-made one from cohesion, field quality, completeness, or wrapper, it fails. Inspect the densest forms (Contractor Application, Welcome Packet, Invoice) at 1:1 — defects hide at contact-sheet scale. Final gate: owner full-size screen review (owner directive 2026-07-07 — the human eyes ARE the vision test).
