Two decisions wait on the form (both are tag calls only you can make): the GoodNotes/Notability tags, and the "e-ink planner" tag we never device-tested.

One thing to eyeball: Board 4's week connector — the critic flagged its elbow as "could be cleaner" and deferred it to you. If it bothers you, note it.

Package-critic brief — SKU 3-1-1 Modira 2027 Hyperlinked Digital Planner (release v2 / letter B)

For the orchestrator's package-critic run (do NOT self-run — this brief only says what to judge). The critic RE-MEASURES everything itself from the shipped files (pypdf link walk, byte count, count reconciliation) and NEVER trusts pipeline flags (lesson #7). It judges the COMPLETE package against the approved bar (products/digital-planner/product-bar.json + docs/digital-planner-product-spec.md §8) and the pinned real exemplars (wiki/exemplars/digital-planner/ — ePaperTemplates, Pathfounder, KatacosmicDesign), AFTER the deterministic gates already passed. Hard-fail sections (any one = FAIL) — bar §8

  1. LINK GRAPH — independently re-run the pypdf walk on the shipped planner PDF: 100% of link annotations resolve to the calendar-derived expected target; zero dangling/off-page/ overlapping rects; every page reachable in ≤3 taps from the index (covers are entry pages); rects meet the 25.5pt finger-tap minimum. Evidence in validation.json (link_graph_shipped).
  2. CALENDAR MATH — recompute weekday/month-length/week-number for the year boundaries plus a random 30-day sample; any mismatch fails. (Validator recomputes ALL 365 day pages.)
  3. COUNTS RECONCILE — page/link/tracker/cover/notes counts recomputed from the PDF must equal manifest == every board badge == START-HERE == listing.txt. Boards + copy are manifest-fed by construction; confirm the numbers match the re-measured PDF.
  4. FILE BUDGETS — re-measure DECIMAL bytes on disk: ≤5 files, each ≤19,500,000 bytes, filenames ≤70 chars. START-HERE.pdf is slot 1.
  5. CLAIMS GATING — NO device-compatibility claim appears anywhere beyond generic PDF / PDF-annotation apps (GoodNotes/Notability-class); device-ledger.json records zero hardware tests; the honest-limits block (PDF not app; no handwriting-to-text/typed-text/ calendar sync; links tapped not penned) is present in START-HERE, board 09 and listing.txt; manufacturer non-affiliation present; zero borrowed proof / puffery.
  6. AI PROVENANCE + AI-TELLS — covers/boards are deterministic real renders + clean type; NO generative art ships, so the honest "computer-typeset, nothing to disclose" statement is used (not a generative-provenance block). Inspect the DENSEST pages (day, month grid, password-log tracker) at 1:1 — defects hide at contact-sheet zoom.
  7. FONTS EMBEDDED — every font in the shipped PDF is embedded + subset (zero base-14 references). Evidence: validation.json planner.checks.fonts.non_embedded == [].
  8. RELEASE DISCIPLINE — new v2/; prior releases untouched; versions.json + manifest consistent; $0 generation cost.

Advisory (surface, don't auto-fail)

Typographic hierarchy consistency (EB Garamond serif titles + Poppins body, tracked eyebrows) across page types; tab-rail legibility at device scale; ≥60% writable space on day/week pages; board palette/typeface lock; hero legibility at Etsy's ~1.26 thumbnail crop; every board FILLS its device frame and DEMONSTRATES its caption; the tabs board shows a live navigation state; description SEO/tag quality; video pacing + caption clarity.

Indistinguishability test

Place hero (boards/01-hero.png), verified-links (02), what's-included (03), navigation (04) and where-it-works (09) beside the pinned exemplars. If a planner-niche buyer could flag ours as the newcomer / AI shop on brand coherence, page-count magnitude (900-1,300 band — ours is 1,000), disclosure candor, count credibility or render realism, it fails, naming the tell. Final gate: owner full-size screen review (lesson #20 — human full-size review IS the vision test).

Two of the 13 tags name the big planner apps ("goodnotes planner", "notability planner"). That's how shoppers search, and the product bar allows it — but they are other companies' trademarks, so it carries a small takedown risk. Your risk call.

Decision 2 — the "e-ink planner" tag

One tag targets e-ink tablets (reMarkable etc.). We never tested the planner on an e-ink device — no test is on record. It likely works (it's a standard PDF), but the tag implies we know it does.
